Glenn Williams is a co-founder and the Managing Partner of Williams, Graffeo & Stern LLC. Glenn serves as outside General Counsel to business clients providing comprehensive and strategic business law and real estate counseling to individuals and companies across multiple industry verticals from startup/early stage to established multi-nationals.
Glenn brings a general counsel's unique perspective and keen understanding of business and the law to clients of the firm. He is experienced in growing businesses, including organization, financing, mergers & acquisitions, business development, commercial agreements, employment agreements, human resources, and corporate governance, as well as in various aspects of technology and global communications, renewable energy, franchise law, commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, investments, land use and development, construction, and brokerage, and litigation/dispute resolution.

Previously, Glenn led the Corporate & Business Law practice for a tri-state regional law firm. Prior to returning to private practice, Glenn served as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to a global technology and communications company where he was instrumental in growing the company, which went public, established strategic alliances with industry notables Yahoo, Microsoft, AT&T, AOL, LG and Cisco, and raised $2 billion in capital in a series of public and private transactions before successfully going private via a merger transaction. He was responsible for the company's legal, human resources and real estate departments. Glenn previously served as Associate General Counsel to its affiliated parent company, a multifaceted global communications and entertainment company, where he focused on domestic and international commercial agreements.
Glenn has also held senior positions in commercial real estate and has particular experience in growing franchised businesses, such as Marriott hotels, TGI Friday's, Wendy's and Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants as in house Assistant General Counsel and outside General Counsel, respectively, where he contributed to the successful expansion of real estate holdings and commercial operations via business and real estate acquisitions and development which required strategic navigation of franchisor/franchisee, lender/borrower/investor, and landlord/tenant relationships, as well as liquor license and corporate infrastructure issues.
Prior to going in-house, Glenn was a business lawyer in private practice where he represented the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority and Warren County Community College as outside General Counsel. He was involved in a number of deals involving professional sports franchises Giants, Jets, Nets and Devils and sponsors Phillip Morris, Anheuser Busch and Coca-Cola, as well as the naming of Continental Airlines Arena, one of the first naming rights deals of the time, the expansion of Giants Stadium and development of the first college campus for Warren County Community College. Glenn has also led sales and business development for a commercial contracting firm where he was responsible for projects such as the Bridgewater Commons Mall, Morristown Memorial Hospital and Federal Express.
Glenn has served as Deputy Mayor of Independence Township, New Jersey, and as Chairman of the Warren County Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee where he was actively involved in issues relating to the Highlands Act. He also has served as Chairman of the Independence Township Land Use Board, President of the Great Meadows Regional Board of Education, Vice President of the Independence Township Recreation Commission and as a founding member of the Seton Hall University School of Law Board of Visitors.
